Description I discovered this gem of a waterfall on the Pacific Crest Trail, section 'J' near Snoqualmie Pass in Washington State's Cascade mountains. As I set off from the trailhead, I kept hearing the sound of rushing water but unfortunately, the trail didn't seem to be taking me very close to it. Finally, I found a spur trail that led off in the direction of the river and after about a quarter-mile, I was rewarded with a gorgeous river pouring steeply downhill, resulting in waterfall after impressive waterfall, all of it on the west side of the mountain, thus exposed to the sun's setting light. I followed the river downstream for about a mile before taking an involuntary swim and heading back. I still can't believe how amazing that river was.Follow me on Facebook: <a href=http://www.facebook.com/joshuacramerphotography'>Joshua Cramer: Fine Art Photography
