Following our hike through the jungle along the Kaipau trail, we found ourselves driving back down a winding mountain road, in search of a waterfall to finish off the day. Suddenly, a sign appeared: "Opaekaa Falls, next left." We came to a near-screeching halt and turned into the viewpoint just as the sun started setting, coating the already beautiful scene with light the color of sweet, sweet honey. Follow me on Facebook!
